Myrtle Beach is only a few hours away, making it a perfect weekend getaway. The Appalachian Mountain Range is only a 45-minute drive if the mountains are more your style.

Greenville, SC, is also home to one of the biggest baseball mysteries. One of the greatest players in history, Shoeless Joe Jackson, is from Greenville. He was one of the Chicago Black Sox players accused of cheating during the 1919 World Series. His home is now a museum. 

7. The Food

This weekend event includes cooking demonstrations, tastings, wine seminars, and multi-course dinners with celebrity chefs. Not only do we enjoy delicious food and fun with friends, but the proceeds from this event help Local Boys Do Good, which is an organization that helps other non-profit groups. 

9. Downtown 

In Downtown Greenville, you’ll find trolley rides to breweries, boutiques, and museums. There are numerous walkable places in the ten blocks of the downtown area. 

If you’re tired of seeing concrete, Falls Park on the Reedy lets you breathe fresh air. It has stunning trees, a beautiful pedestrian bridge, a magical waterfall, and many other attractions.
